I have a 2004 Nissan maxima and was in an accident this morning. Long story short, it was my fault and fortunately there were no injuries on either side. What's the cheapest auto insurance company in NJ for someone who is a first time driver and doesn't have anyone elses insurance to go off of? I keep getting different quotes, rangeing between 200-400$ a month, which is a little bit insane. Are these quotes just accounting for things that I don't really need?
Help insuring a Car?
I am 16 years old and from the UK. I will be turning 17 in november and getting a driving licence. I was offered a car from my step dad. It is a 1996 Honda Civic Coupe LSi in green/blue. It has a 1.5 litre engine, and although not very powerful, it is very desireble to steal. It might be important to mention here that it has an automatic transmission. I have tried online insurance sites to see how much it would be to insure. All the prices are very high. I just wanted some advice on how to insure this car cheap. Or at least cheaper then the quotes I have been getting. I am willing to keep it in a garage, it has an alarm and I will use a steering lock, but the quotes are still expensive. .Thanks for any help I get

Hi all, Right, i want to sell my car. I have cancelled my car insurance and the car is parked on Private Land (off-road). The car DOES have valid TAX & MOT. If a potential buyer wants to view/test drive my car, will he be allowed to drive the car on the public road? As i have no insurance, would his Fully Comp cover my car to 3rd Party? The buyer will only be driving it for about 10-15 minutes. Thanx in advance!

My son was hit by an excluded driver. Their insurance won't pay. What can I do?
The other driver received the ticket for crossing into my son's lane. The insurance proof he provided showed that he had full coverage. We get a call from his insurance company telling us he was an excluded driver on that policy and that they will not pay. I did not have uninsured/underinsured motorist on my son's truck. Who pays?
